'Try not to get sick': Former GOP strategist slams Giuliani over 'disgusting' lawsuit allegations
19 May 2023
Noelle Dunphy, a former Rudy Giuliani aide, has filed a $10 million sexual harassment lawsuit against the ex-Donald Trump attorney and one-time New York City mayor. Dunphy not only accuses Giuliani of making unwanted sexual advances at her, but also, everything from making racist comments to violating attorney/client privilege.
Never Trump conservative and former GOP strategist Tim Miller weighs in on Dunphy's lawsuit in a humorous but edgy video for The Bulwark, telling viewers, "Trigger warning: It's just about the most disgusting slew of allegations I've ever seen in politics…. Try not to get sick."
Miller explains, "Drunk Rudy Giuliani was sued by a former staffer this week who says that he sold pardons, forced her to work naked and give blowies during phone calls so he could feel like Bill Clinton, took tons of Viagra, got wasted starting at 10 a.m., would talk about how Jewish guys have small d***s and called his female staffers 'bitch,' the c-word, and 'Rudy’s slut.' Can you believe that guy was the top adviser to the last president?"
In his video, Miller also offers three ways in which the United States' looming debt ceiling crisis "might play out."
U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has been warning that the U.S. could default on its debt obligations as soon as June 1 — and suffer an "economic and financial catastrophe" — if President Joe Biden, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-California) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-New York) don't reach some type of budget agreement.
Miller's three possible scenarios are: (1) the U.S. avoids an "economic apocalypse" because "Biden and McCarthy actually reach a deal," (2) "no deal, and we go over the limit," and (3) "no deal, but Biden uses a creative legal tool to keep paying our bills."
"I'm hoping that Dealin' Joe prevails and we land on Option One," Miller comments, "but I think it's more likely that we're headed straight down the barrel of a crisis that won't be resolved without some economic pain."
