Although President Donald Trump's administration has managed to complete nearly half of its far-right Project 2025 goals according to law professor Kim Wehle, MAGA activists see the clock running out on their ultimate goals and want the president to rush to the finish line.
With midterms looming and President Donald Trump's Lame Duck status, Axios reports that MAGA isn't fully satisfied with the mass deportations, firings and crime crackdowns.
Some of MAGA's loudest voices outlined their full wish list at the recent National Conservatism Conference (NatCon) in Washington D.C.

White House Office of Management and Budget Director and Project 2025 architect Russell Vought — who says there should be no such thing as independent federal agencies — argued at NatCon that the Government Accountability Office, which has accused the Trump administration of repeatedly violating federal law, should not exist.
MAGA podcaster and former Trump chief strategist Steve Bannon called for the Supreme Court to strike down the Voting Rights Act and for GOP-led states to join Texas in redrawing their congressional maps to minimize Democratic influence. He also wants the president to redo the census to exclude unauthorized immigrants.
Republican diehards remain unmoved by the administration's crackdown. Philip Wohltorf, vice president of Boston University's College Republicans, told Axios, "I think it's great that the border is closed, but I do think we still have a huge illegal immigrant population, which should be taken care of."
Far-right activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk pushed for Senate Republicans to be allowed to block the confirmation of U.S. attorneys and district court nominees in their home states using what is known as a "blue slip" courtesy.

"Democrat Senators are pursuing an unprecedented obstruction agenda. It's time to revoke the courtesy," Kirk wrote on X.
Vought sees the need to hasten the consolidation of power asap, telling the NatCon crowd: "Don't think that the minute the president is out of office … this town will not try to pivot back to the form of conservatism that I believe National Conservatism is a response to."
