Fox News Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch is doubling down on the network's intent to stay consistent with its programming and rhetoric despite severing ties with its breadwinning conservative news host Tucker Carlson.
Speaking to news analysts, Murdoch — the son of Fox News Corp.'s founding magnate Rupert Murdoch — addressed questions about the network's strategy and possible changes in the wake of the company's massive settlement with Dominion and Carlson's termination shortly thereafter.
According to Business Insider, Murdoch confirmed the network's stance during a recent earnings call saying, "There's no change to our programming strategy at Fox News. It's obviously a successful strategy, and, as always, we are adjusting our programming and our lineup, and that's what we continue to do."

"We are pleased with the strength of the advertising demand throughout our schedules, but particularly prime time," he added.
Lachlan's remarks follow a string of developments including the unexpected termination of Carlson and the company's decision to settle the defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems.
Last month, the network announced its decision to settle the $1.6 billion lawsuit for $787.5 million.
“This settlement reflects Fox’s continued commitment to the highest journalistic standards,” Fox said in its statement released at the time. “We are hopeful that our decision to resolve this dispute with Dominion amicably, instead of the acrimony of a divisive trial, allows the country to move forward from these issues.”
