Kari Lake whines after Trump 'sours' on her: 'The media attacks are just all over me'

Failed Arizona candidate for governor Kari Lake (R) complained on Thursday that "media attacks" were "all over" her after reports said that former President Donald Trump had "soured" on picking her as his running mate.

During an interview with War Room host Steve Bannon, Lake celebrated a federal district judge's ruling that prevents some federal government agencies from combatting disinformation on social media.

Lake pointed out that one person cited in the ruling was connected to Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer.

"And so here we have a guy running our elections, and he's part of working with the federal government on ways to censor the American people, take away their First Amendment right to talk about corruption, to talk about fraud in our elections, and election integrity," she asserted. "And I think it's huge, but they're panicked because if all of a sudden we have freedom of speech to talk about these issues, they're going to lose their grip on their control over all of this information."

Lake also took a moment to speak out about "media attacks."

"I know that we're over the target because the attacks, the media attacks, are just all over me," she opined. "And I don't care. Nobody cares about what the media is saying. We are on a mission to save our country."

The former candidate predicted her ongoing court appeal would eventually overturn Arizona's 2022 election for governor.

"My case is going to be the case, I believe, that cracks everything open, and we are appealing," she concluded.

It wasn't clear which media reports were an issue for Lake.

On Thursday, The Daily Beast reported that Trump was less likely to pick Lake as his running mate because he believes she wants too much attention.
