Fox News pundits: President Joe Biden 'actually evil' for mentioning the dangers of white supremacy

President Joe Biden delivered the commencement address at Howard University in Washington, DC on Saturday and touched upon the "harsh reality that racism has long torn us apart. It's a battle that's never really over, but on the best days, enough of us have the guts and the hearts to stand up for the best in us... to stand up against the poison of white supremacists. I did my inaugural dress through to single out as the most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland is white supremacy. And I'm not saying this because I'm at a Black H[istorically] B[lack] C[ollege] and U[niversity]. I say it wherever I go."

Biden's assertion is true, according to data amassed by United States Attorney General Merrick Garland, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of Homeland Security.

But the right-wing pundits on Sunday's edition of Fox & Friends nonetheless insisted that the president was lying and stirring up trouble, despite the statistics and the overwhelming historical evidence that Biden was correct.

"You heard the reaction to that statement. I, I think even for the students that were present there at Howard, everyone because it was so naked, could see what an obvious pander," Will Cain declared.

"Yeah," Rachel Campos-Duffy concurred. "He said the battle is never over. Um, we're never gonna get there because this is clearly a battle that helps him politically. I think it's so cynical. I think it's actually evil to lie about America, that that is not America. America is not racist. America is the least racist country in the world, which is why we have right now people, you know, clamoring to get into our country. That's just a fact."

Pete Hegseth alleged that "where we've come compared to where we are and what on, on race and then what the left wants to do to restart race, race challenges in our country. I mean, DEI is divide, exclude, and indoctrinate. They want us to not get along when our default right now as Americans is to wanna love each other, wanna work together, wanna be together."

Observers on social media fired back (the responses are still ongoing).

"To make a statement like that sheds a deep and intentional disregard for communities outside of one's purview and that are marginalized," former Media Matters for America analyst Steward Beckham tweeted. "Otherwise, telling on one's self."
