'Who wants to tell her?' Ex-Trump lawyer teased over shock from MAGA 'threats of violence'

Jenna Ellis, an ex-attorney for former President Donald Trump, is surprised by the "threats of violence" she is receiving from MAGA fans.

Ellis is now a supporter of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), who is expected to soon announce his 2024 presidential bid in an effort to beat Trump — which means, the GOP attorney is no longer committed to MAGA.

Ellis wrote Sunday evening on Twitter, "Another account was just suspended for a threat of violence against me. This isn't the MAGA movement I defended and championed and the America First I still support. I'll continue to simply speak truth and my own political opinions without fear or favor."

Her comment comes after she also tweeted a few days ago, "Trump 2024’s message to women like me and Erin Perrine: You’re either 100% in all the time or you deserve to be harassed."

Last month, when the former president was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury, MAGA supporters took to social media their reactions.

Adam Kaplan, a Media Matters senior researcher tweeted, "Some users on the far-right forum TheDonald -- which was connected to the January 6 insurrection -- are threatening violence in response to Trump being indicted.

He also shared screenshots of messages posted by members of the far-right forum, TheDonald, with one saying, "Time for a real insurrection," and another saying "I smell a Civil War."

Additionally, the Jan. 6 attack — inspired by MAGA values — left five people dead.

Since the attack, the Department of Justice reports over "725 defendants have been arrested in nearly all 50 states and the District of Columbia," and over "225 defendants have been charged with assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers or employees, including over 75 individuals who have been charged with using a deadly or dangerous weapon or causing serious bodily injury to an officer."

Social media users quickly side-eyed Ellis' clear display of shock.
