Ahmad Khan Rahami, the 28-year-old man wanted by police for his suspected role in a bombing Saturday in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, has been taken into custody.
<p>Police had also linked the explosion on Saturday in Seaside Heights to Rahami, as well as two devices found in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Rahami. Twenty-nine people were injured in Chelsea.</p><p>Police say Rahami was identified using surveillance video in Chelsea.</p><p>Rahami, a naturalized American citizen originally from Afghanistan who lives in Elizabeth, was wounded during a shootout with police in Linden, New Jersey. Two officers were also shot, one in the chest, though spared serious injury by a bullet proof vest, the other in the hand. </p><p>The extent of Rahami's injuries have not been reported. He was taken away in an ambulance.</p>
