Christine Quinn leads Anthony Weiner

A New York Times/Siena poll finds that Christine Quinn is leading Anthony Weiner in the Democratic primary for New York City mayor, by a margin of 27-18 percent.

Bill de Blasio and Bill Thompson are tied for third and fourth, with 11 percent of the Democratic vote, followed by John Liu, with 7 percent.

From the New York Times:

The poll suggests that the race is fluid. Twenty-two percent of Democratic voters are undecided, and 3 in 10 Democrats, and 2 in 10 Republicans, say they are certain they will vote for the candidate they currently prefer.

The Times/Siena Poll results differ slightly from those of other recent public polls, which have suggested that Mr. Weiner is running even with, or ahead of, Ms. Quinn. But all of the recent polls suggest that Ms. Quinn and Mr. Weiner are at the front of the Democratic pack, with Mr. Thompson and Mr. de Blasio lagging behind.
