Boston bombing suspect still in serious condition

After his arrest on Friday night, Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev remains in serious condition at a Boston hospital, the same hospital as some of the victims of the bombings at the Boston Marathon, according NBC News.

NBC News' Pete Williams and Tracy Connor report:

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was being held at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where 11 victims were also being treated after two blasts tore through crowds at the finish line of Monday's race.

He was wounded in the firefight with cops but escaped, sparking a daylong lockdown of Boston and surrounding towns.

CNN's Jake Tapper reports that 57 of those injured in the bombings on Monday are still hospitalized in total, with three in critical condition.
