Planned Parenthood Endorses Obama, Eviscerates Romney With New Ad

President Obama hasn't been an utterly unflinching champion of women's reproductive rights (see the Plan B over-the-counter disaster, the Stupakamendment)--but he has won some big victories for us, like ending discrimination on health insurance and fighting for birth control coverage. Most importantly, he's not his opponent.

So Planned Parenthood has thrown its weight behind the closest thing they have to a national champion in the race, and more crucially, thrown its weight against his challenger Mitt Romney, who has vowed to defund the healthcare provider and overturn Roe. Check out the new ad:

The New York Times notes, this is " one of its biggest-ever political advertising campaigns aimed at using Mr. Romney’s own words to undermine his support among women."
