Fox News Apologizes for Asking if Jews Killed Jesus

Fox News is on the defensive again, forced to apologize for an asinine poll perpetuating the myth that Jews killed Jesus Christ. According to the Associated Press, Fox Latin America was trying to stir up some interest in a National Geographic Christmas special on Facebook when a Fox staffer posted this poll:

Who Do You Think Is Responsible For The Death of Christ?

A. Pontius Pilate
B. Jewish People
C. High Priests

Not surprisingly, the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Buenos Aires was "outraged" over Fox's reference to the Vatican propaganda that "resulted in the prosecution and murder of Jews for two millennia."

Fox Spokesman Guadalupe Lucero apologized on behalf of National Geographic, and said the poll was removed. Rest assured: According to the AP, Lucero said "measures have been taken to prevent such incidents in the future," because we all know Fox News prides itself on avoiding bigotry.
