Maddow Gives Props to Vermont's Aggressive Infrastructure Push After Irene

Infrastructure investment is a great economic stimulus, not to mention the fact that it has a tangible effect on improving people's lives. but whenever it comes up nationally, it's treated as controversial. Well not so in hurricane-ravaged Vermont which has made a huge push for repairs after a number of roads, houses and towns were washed away by flooding. With national disaster relief budgets up in the air due to  politics, it's nice to see a state getting things done.

Rachel Maddow ran a brief but encouraging segment on Vermont's efforts last night.
