Mitt Romney Rakes in $18.25 Million (With Help from Citizens United)

Last quarter's GOP fundraising numbers are in, and Mitt Romney predictably leads his rivals with a reported $18.25 million -- $12 million of which came from a "super PAC" formed in the wake of Citizens United. Michele Bachmann, though, won't report her totals until July 15, at which point we'll have a clearer idea of how close a number two she actually is.

Even with Romney's first-quarter windfall, though, he's still short of his first-quarter take in 2007. That year he raked in more than $23 million. Read more at Daily Kos.
