VIDEO: GOP Presidential Candidate Tim Pawlenty Glitter-Bombed in San Francisco

Tim Pawlenty's new book is called Courage to Stand, but does he have the courage to stand up to pink glitter and feathers?

Code Pink activists arrived at Pawlenty's book signing in San Francisco to ask the Republican presidential hopeful (and Minnesota governor) why he doesn't have the courage to stand for women's reproductive rights and for the rights of LGBT people.

Pawlenty, of course, opposed any legislation that protects Minnesotans on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity, and is a proponent of a constitutional ban on gay marriage.

He also, in 2010, declared April "Abortion Recovery Month" in response to requests by anti-choice organizations.

Pawlenty is the second Republican presidential contender to be glitter-bombed; in May, Newt Gingrichwas glittered and told to "feel the rainbow" at a book signing in Pawlenty's home state of Minnesota.
