Revolutionary Artist, Musician, Poet Gil Scott-Heron Dies

Counter-cultural hero, poet, songwriter, and innovator Gil-Scott Heron died yesterday.

Scott-Heron was known as the "Godfather of Rap" because of his spoken-word creations.

Remember him with the song he's most famous for, "the Revolution Will Not be Televised," below.
