Sarah Palin Endorses Racist Gubernatorial Candidate Tom Tancredo

On an election day rife with radical right wing candidates, Colorado gubernatorial candidate Tom Tancredo is particularly out there, known for his xenophobic views on immigration, racist diatribes and hypocritical hiring of undocumented workers. Despite his extremist views and association with the Constitution Party, he's been polling higherthan the GOP candidate Dan Maes in a three-way race, and now he's landed an eleventh hour endorsement in the form of a robocall from Sarah Palin, which he Tweeted yesterday.

"Tom is the right man for the job, and he'll fight for lower taxes, he'll stop growing government, and start growing the economy," says Palin in the robocall, which launched Monday afternoon. "And we know he'll continue to work to end illegal immigration."

As of yesterday, Tancredo was slightly trailing behind Democratic candidate John Hickenlooper by five points at 48-43, according to a Public Policy Polling survey.

Tancredo has also been endorsed by extremist Minnesota Republican Michelle Bachmann.
