Comedian Kathy Griffin lashed out at President Donald Trump after he issued a condolence tweet to John McCain's family, despite his insulting comments about McCain being captured during the Vietnam War while serving in the U.S. military.

McCain was tortured and sustained permanent physical injuries during his years-long experience as a POW.

Griffin reminded her followers of Trump's words.

“Take his name out of your mouth you piece of sh*t," Griffin wrote. "You maligned his military service while you did everything to avoid serving. You attacked him repeatedly while you knew he was dying."

Griffin also got a shot in about Trump's relationship with Russia

"And you cozied up to Putin while he did everything he could to oppose him. F*ck You,” Griffin concluded.
