On a wild spree of press interviews Monday, former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg made a lot of unwise and dubious comments. But his most revealing comment was a sexist attack he made against White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

"If Sarah Huckabee wants to start debasing me, she's a joke," Nunberg said on NY1. "She's not attractive. She's a fat slob."

He went on to say that none of that is relevant because she works for an unpopular president.

Earlier in the day, Sanders had dismissed Nunberg's claim that President Donald Trump probably colluded with Russia during the campaign.

"As we said many times before, there was no collusion with the Trump campaign," Sanders said. "Anything further on what [Nunberg's] actions are... he hasn't worked at the White House, so I certainly can't speak to him or the lack of knowledge that he clearly has.”
