The Donald vs The King

Donald, you may be the president, but LeBron is the king.

The controversy surrounding the NBA Champions' traditional visit to the White House just escalated. Following the Golden State Warriors Steph Curry's announcement he would not attend, and the president's tweet disinviting him, LeBron James challenged the president on his home court: Twitter. LeBron James called President Trump a bum.

It is one thing to take on North Korea's Kim Jong-un or Iran, or ISIS, but taking on the King is quite another matter. LeBron, who has increasingly become vocal on national issues, followed up his tweet with a more detailed video tweet, explaining he is "frustrated this guy that we have put in charge is trying to divide us once again." He goes on to say, "He is now using sports to try and divide us."

The Donald may have finally met his match, and with the the King involved, we certainly have not heard the last from the president or NBA players on the matter.

Stay tuned.
