Two weeks ago, John Oliver delivered a scathing takedown of a clueless GOP eager to replace Obamacare by any means necessary. Now that Republicans have unveiled their terrible replacement plan, the "Last Week Tonight" host is back for more.

"Yes, it's finally here," Oliver began. "The American Health Care Act. You may not have wanted it, it looks awful, but it's here anyway."

"Try and think of it as the legislative equivalent of Pirates of the Caribbean 5, the curse of Johnny Depp getting divorced and needing the money," he quipped.

Early reviews of "Obamacare-lite" have been rough. Even President Trump remains hesitant to put his name on the bill after both Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and conservative commentator Meghan McCain told Fox News the bill was "dead on arrival."

"Yes, much like the life behind Melania Trump's eyes, the AHCA looked 'dead on arrival' by the time it was introduced," remarked Oliver after playing the interviews. "And there is no doubt the bill got enemies quickly; the American Medical Association, the American Hospital Association, American Nurses Association and the AARP all immediately came out against it, and even people you probably would be happy about the repeal were not exactly thrilled."
