Fox News' Shep Smith Shuts Down Giuliani's Absurd Defense of Trump's Lies: 'Truth Is Truth. There'

The Fox News host wasn't impressed.

Fox News host Shep Smith shot down Rudy Giuliani's ridiculous claim that "truth isn't truth" during his Monday show.

"Webster's defines [truth] as body of real things, events and facts and the state of being the case," Smith explained.

Chief White House correspondent John Roberts compared Giuliani's remarks to Kellyanne Conway's infamous claim that President Donald Trump has "alternative facts."

Roberts also quoted Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who cited dystopian author George Orwell in describing Giuliani's propaganda tactics.

"Truth is truth. There," Smith concluded.
