Stephen Colbert, host of the CBS Late Show, gave his audience a brief and hilarious overview of Michael Wolff's explosive new book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.

“The book is just packed with nuggets of, ‘Oh, my god,'” Colbert explained. “If you haven’t read it yet, here are the CliffsNotes: Trump dumb, staff worried."

Colbert talked about a passage in which former aide Sam Nunberg was described as trying to explain the Bill of Rights to President Trump. Nunberg is said to have gotten only as far as the Fourth Amendment before Trump's "eyes [were] rolling back in his head."

“Boring! Get to the part with the rapping and the music, OK?" Colbert said in his best Trump impression. "I can’t believe this thing won a Tony. Where’s Pumbaa? You know, Thomas Jefferson himself said, ‘Hakuna Matata.'”

Many wondered if the book sheds light on whether Trump is mentally fit for office. Colbert had the answer. “Spoiler alert: he’s not.”
