WATCH: Barack Obama Appears With Zach Galifianakis on Between Two Ferns, Hilarity Ensues

President Obama appeared on the mock interview series to make the case for health care coverage to a young audience.

President Obama appeared on "Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis," a video series on the Funny or Die’s website,

On the video segment, President Obama shared digs with Galifianakis — even giving a poor review of The Hangover III — before pushing health care reform. Galifianakis then shared with the President the details of a pretty nasty ailment he claims to suffer from.

Galifianakis' series is an Internet take off of a low-budget interview show. On the show Galifianakis and his guests typically trade passive-aggressive barbs with each other.

The series is watched by a younger adult audience, so it is assumed that President Obama used the Internet venue to connect with younger Americans who have not yet signed up for health care insurance through the Affordable Health Care Act.

The interview was recorded two weeks ago and debuted this morning. It's a last-minute push for The White House, which is still trying to attract a younger demographic to the health-insurance plans offered through the ACA. It is widely assumed that the only way to guarantee the affordability of the plan is to have younger Americans participate. March 31 is the deadline for enrolling for 2014.
