Michael Avenatti, most famous for representing Stormy Daniels in her case against President Donald Trump, has said that he is now representing clients with claims against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, which he will make public within 48 hours.

And on CNN's Cuomo Prime Time Monday night, Avenatti lashed out at Kavanaugh's recent denials in his trademark dramatic fashion.

"I just think it's absolutely unbelievable, and I think the American people are smarter than this," Avenatti said of Kavanaugh's denials of any wrongdoing on Fox News earlier in the evening. "You cannot reconcile the individual in the Fox News interview with the individual who wrote what he wrote in his yearbook. You cannot reconcile the individual on Fox News with the individual who was joined at the hip with Mark Judge throughout the years at issue. You just can't."

On Kavanaugh's claim that he stayed a virgin for many years after high school, Avenatti said: "I don't believe it. And I think it shows that he's lying, and I'm aware of many, many witnesses that will testify that that is an absolute lie."

Avenatti acknowledged, though, that he can't merely make these claims — he'll have to prove them. "That is our burden, and we're going to embrace it," he said.

He concluded: "This Fox News interview and the statements that Brett Kavanaugh just stated tonight I think will ultimately be shown to be 100 percent demonstrably false."
