Michael Knowles speaks on college campus despite student protests against his 'dehumanizing rhetoric'

The Daily Wire host Michael Knowles gave a "hate-filled" speech before State University of New York at Buffalo students, despite students' protesting his appearance, The Daily Beast reports.
Knowles recently stated "transgenderism" should be "eradicated" during his 2023 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
Regarding the right-wing commentator's visit to the campus, the university's president even called criticized his "dehumanizing rhetoric," according to The Daily Beast.
Protestors shouted, "Trans lives matter!" as Knowles proceeded to give his address.
The school's Twitter account wrote, "We support our trans community. #UBuffalo"
The Daily Beast reports:
The Young Americans for Freedom, a student organization devoted to conservative ideas, hosted Knowles on campus, where the political pundit was supposed to give a speech on "How Feminism Destroys Women (And Everything Else)." However, he rambled on for about 10 minutes about the so-called "confusion" of transgender people, his dissent on gay marriage, and ridiculed a slew of publications' recent reports—including The Daily Beast—for slamming his transphobic views.
"I think women understood the world a lot better before feminism," Knowles said. "I think women were obviously much happier before feminism. I think women understood the relationship between men and women and their own nature much better before feminism."
As the protestors continued chanting and lambasting the host for his hateful speech towards the transgender community, Knowles "mocked them and smiled," saying, “Do you have anything else to say?”
He continued, "'Trans…lives…matter.' OK, I think I got it. Does anyone have a pen so I can write that down?"
LGBTQ rights advocate and Harvard clinical law instructor, Alejandra Caraballo, recently told HuffPost, "Transgenderism isn't really a coherent concept that's used by anyone other than anti-trans people. They can get away with saying the most disturbing things about trans people by just chalking it up to either 'gender ideology' or 'transgenderism' and just saying, 'Oh, we're not talking about trans people, we’re talking about the ideology.'"
The Daily Beast reports Buffalo activists, such as the local chapter of the group Showing Up for Justice rallied around the students on social media.
"[Showing Up for Justice] stands in solidarity with transgender students and employees at the @universityatbuffalo and other community groups who condemn the transphobic, racist, misogynist, and genocidal rhetoric of Michael Knowles," the anti-white supremacy posted to Facebook.
