MUST WATCH: Jon Stewart Eviscerates John McCain for Playing On-Line Poker During Senate Hearing On Syria

"Sorry Senator, is this possible global conflagration interrupting your video poker time?"

Jon Stewart had a field day last night with the revelation that hawkish Senator John McCain was caught blatantly playing on-line poker during the hearing of whether to back the Obama Administration's plans to take military action, a.k.a. bomb, Syria.

"We begin tonight's show once again with the strong possibility of a nebulously-defined, targettish American-led bombing designed to bring peace and stability to the bombees," the comedian, very much back in the host's saddle of "The Daily Show" began.

Noting that such a serious matter would no doubt command the serious attention of every lawmaker in teh room, Stewart then cut to the now famous shot of McCain playing poker on his phone. "Sorry Senator, is this possible global conflagration interrupting your video poker time?" Stewart said, later suggesting, "Instead of playing pretend poker in the Senate, go to an actual casino and pretend you know what the government should do."

Caught, and called out on his actions, McCain giggled, rather insanely, and Stewart hilariously lampooned that.
