Jon Stewart Completely Obliterates Absurd "We Built It" RNC Theme

With the RNC in full swing, the Daily Show, like so many of its "real news" cousins, is broadcasting from Tampa ("the Corporations Are People's Republic of Tampa") this week. As such, Jon Stewart spent a good chunk of time last night mercilessly making fun of the convention's first day of speakers and its ridiculous "We Built It" theme. "When was the last time we heard a catch phrase that was a peculiar mix of ragged dontcha know and whiny petulance?" Stewart wondered. (Answer: "WINNING.") Stewart then goes on to rip apart that dumb slogan, noting first and foremost that it is based on a Barack Obama quote that was taken out of context.
