Billboards Feature Suit-Clad Dummies in Nooses: "Hope You're Happy Wall St.," "Dying for Work"

A pair of billboards along the highway in Las Vegas have startled drivers with what appear to be hanging bodies in business suits, but are in fact dummies in nooses. The billboards feature some pretty clear political messages: "Hope you're happy Wall St." and "Dying for work."

FOX5 in Vegas reports that no one has yet taken credit for the billboards, which were first noticed early Wednesday morning. The local Occupy group is claiming ignorance:

"Grassroots organization Occupy Las Vegas, which, like the national parent it derives from, has had a history of extreme protests concerning the economy, denied taking part in the billboards.

The group, though, said the messages conveyed in the hanging dummies should not be ignored.

'No matter which opinion you hold, the fact remains that - like the problems of homelessness, unemployment and suicide - these signs cannot be ignored,' an Occupy Las Vegas spokesman said in a statement Wednesday."

Here are pictures of the two billboards:
