WATCH: The One Thing Donald Trump Feels Is Inappropriate to Talk About on TV

Someone should reassure the Donald that this is something presidential candidates do talk about.

MSNBC was awfully persistent in setting Donald Trump up with Marco Rubio in the GOP frontrunner's bid for the White House. While Rubio said in the last GOP debate that he'd support a Trump Presidency, Donald claimed in the same debate that Rubio was such a terrible candidate, "he couldn't get elected dog catcher." So why did MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski try desperately to make Trump agree to this ridiculous match-up?

Here’s the first time they hounded him:

Brzezinski : “You had a great night last night. Marco Rubio, not so much. And he has some decisions to make. Would you ever consider him as your running mate?”

Trump: “Well I don’t want to make that decision right now. He has a big decision to make and he should make his own decision.”

The second time:

Brzezinski: “But what about you?”

Trump: “I always liked him and then he hit me very hard.”

The third time:

Scarborough: “Well could you forgive him and pick him as a Vice President?”

Trump: "I got along great with him until a few weeks ago."

The fourth time:

Scarborough: “Wouldn’t you consider him though as a Vice President?”

Trump: “I don’t want to be involved with his decision.”

The fifth time:

Hosts: "But-but-but if he decided to drop out .. since you need help, could Marco Rubio  be a bridge to that Republican establishment?” Trump had a pretty definitive answer:

“I certainly don’t think he would be considered by anybody as a Vice President.”

Bam. But it continued:

“But if he drops out before losing Florida, would you consider him? ”Is he a potentially good pick?” “Could he possibly be on a list? Because he could help your outreach to Hispanics and the establishment...?"

Trump: “Sure, sure. It’s just not appropriate to talk about it until he makes a decision.”

Scarborough: “We’ll take that as a yes."
