Caitlyn Jenner Stirs Controversy With Her Anti-Clinton, Pro-Cruz Stance (VIDEO)

How deluded do you need to be to believe Ted Cruz cares about trans women? Or any women?

Season 2 of "I Am Cait" just aired and Caitlyn Jenner has let the world know that being transgender does not mean that she is not politically deranged.
Jenner, a lifelong Republican, made headlines last week when she announced not only that she would be voting for Ted Cruz, but that she would be his "trans ambassador." On the season premiere of her show, Jenner's friends questioned her about this seemingly odd political alliance, to which she responded, "It's the last place I want to be. But I'm open. We need both sides and if we're unfortunate enough to get Hillary as our next president, we need her to be on our side. Although she won't be, she couldn't care less about women."
Anna Kasparian, host of "The Young Turks," was incredulous. "[That] is an incredible criticism considering right now, on the Democratic side, all the criticism toward Bernie is framed with, 'he's not as successful in getting things done as Hillary,'" she said.
"It's crazy on both sides," said Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks. "It's crazy to say that Bernie Sanders' supporters are sexist and that's what motivates them to be for the most liberal senator in the country. On the other hand, it's insane to say Hillary Clinton doesn't care about women."
Kasparian followed up about Jenner: "She's unwise about politics, but she also comes from the perspective of a privileged white guy who has not transitioned into a woman and she does not know what it is like for the vast majority of transgender people coping with these politicians that don't want to give them rights, who talk about them as if they're animals trying to sneak into the wrong bathroom, which Ted Cruz has done."
"It's unlikely that Caitlyn Jenner's going to have issues with housing discrimination," Uygur said.
"Also understand that Caitlyn Jenner is fabulously wealthy and she wants to protect her wealth," Kasparian noted. "I think that's what the appeal of the Republican Party is for her."
