Jon Stewart set his sights on the ever-balloning NSA spying scandal’s latest plot point last night, namely the bugging of a number of European leaders’ cell phones, joking that Angela Merkel is also upset that the U.S. "pretended to be her on-line boyfriend for two years."
Stewart, then turned his attention to Russia's spying program, and the revelation that Russia included a USB stick loaded with spyware in a "bugged gift bag" given to world leaders at the G20 summit last month. "In Russia gift bag rummage through you," he gagged.
“If you’re a world leader, and you put the USB stick Russia gave you into your computer, you deserve to have them f*ck with your screensaver,” Stewart said. He went on to mock U.S. Congress members for complaining that they have been kep tin the dark about the spying program.
