'Look in the mirror': Fat-shamed rally victim takes aim at Trump's health

One woman whom President Donald Trump fat-shamed, as she was reportedly attacked by his supporters, recently shared some harsh words for the fast-food lover. Trump’s has long publicized his love of McDonald’s, even feeding White House visitors menu items from the iconic chain and distributing McDonald’s to first responders.

The woman, a 29-year-old named Blake, says she was attacked by a MAGA mob in Youngstown, Ohio, on October 12 after she defended herself against Trump, labeling him a “fascist” while wearing a DIY “release the Epstein files” T-shirt. She was then grabbed by three men who hit her and pulled her hair as her cries for help were ignored, and she was forcibly removed from the area.

In an interview with Daily Beast’s sister Substack,PunchUp, she says Trump’s fat-shaming is ironic when you consider his own diet. “I wasn’t surprised by Trump making fun of my weight or misgendering me. He has a history of being the most egregious person he can be and not having any repercussions for his actions,” Blake said, noting the 80-year-old president has mounting health issues. “He even said that we all could lose some weight, or something to that effect, because he too is not in ‘peak health’ and has never been, when his favorite place to eat is McDonald’s.”

Blake says the experience has been traumatizing. “This has been a really scary experience for me, but also living here in America under Trump has been scary,” Blake said, adding she left both “shell-shocked” and “intimidated” by the ordeal. “The president of the ‘free’ world mocking me makes me feel many things. It makes me think about how weak and pathetic of a man he is that he has to consistently punch down on women, instead of trying to uplift others. He is a disgrace to the title of president because he is not; he is a dictator,” Blake explained.

According to an October 2025 podcast interview with Republican National Committee Chairman Joe Gruters, Trump continues consuming his McDonald’s favorites, which include fries, the Filet-O-Fish sandwich, a Quarter Pounder, and a Big Mac.

Aside from McDonald’s, Trump is also reportedly a fan of other comfort foods, including Kentucky Fried Chicken and pizza. He typically washes his fast food down with a Diet Coke.

Interestingly, Trump is an admitted germaphobe and says he prefers McDonald’s because the chain is reliable in cleanliness. "I’m a very clean person. I like cleanliness," he said, as reported by PEOPLE. "And I think you’re better off going there than someplace that you maybe have no idea where the food is coming from. It’s a certain standard. But I think the food is good."
