Last night, President Donald Trump held a rally in Tampa, Florida, in support of Republican gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis.

Afterwards, audience members hurled insults at reporters.

CNN’s Jim Acosta relayed the scene.

“Just a sample of the sad scene we faced at the Trump rally in Tampa. I’m very worried that the hostility whipped up by Trump and some in conservative media will result in somebody getting hurt,” Acosta wrote on Twitter. “We should not treat our fellow Americans this way. The press is not the enemy.”

On Wednesday, the Miami New Timesobserved that leading the charge against the media at the rally was Michael the Black Man, AKA Maurice Symonette.

The Times reports that he’s a former member of Miami’s murderous Yahweh ben Yawheh cult. He even faced conspiracy charges in killings the group was being investigated for.

The group is infamous for a series of murders carried out by members — including a decapitation.
