On Wednesday, June 4, Forbes reported that the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey had been flagged for 18 health violations in an inspection report from the Somerset County Department of Health.
The agency gave the business, which is owned by President Donald Trump, a "conditionally satisfactory" grade of C overall but cited some food-related violations.
Forbes' Zach Everson reported, "The club received a score of 32 out of a 100 possible points, with the inspector documenting 18 violations — nine of which were deemed critical, meaning they 'may result in an unacceptable health risk.' The club was out of compliance with all three requirements in the 'food protected from contamination' category, with violations including expired milk, raw meat stored improperly and a dishwasher that may not reach the required temperature. The first two problems were corrected during the inspection."

Forbes' reporting is generating a lot of discussion on the Elon Musk-owned X, formerly Twitter.
X user Donna Martinez commented, "Perhaps Taco King Trump is busy cleaning up at the golf course: Trump's Bedminster Golf Club Flagged For 18 Health Violations In Latest Inspection — Earned Lowest Grade In County -a score of 32 out of a 100 possible points."
Another X user, Charles Perreira, posted, "Trump's 'luxury' Bedminster just scored lower than a gas station sushi bar. Critical violations. No soap. A household microwave in a presidential kitchen. But why fix food safety when you can just pardon the salmonella? Of course he won't pay the fines. He'll either: A) Sue the health inspectors for 'witch hunt' B) Call the violations 'fake news' C) Serve the violations at his next Supreme Court buffet 'Very clean guy,' they said.
Annie van Leur remarked, "Ewwwwwww."
MeidasTouch tweeted, "Yikes. Donald Trump's Bedminster golf club recently got slapped with 18 health violations and the lowest health grade in the entire county — scoring a 32 out of 100. Critical food safety risks, no soap at sinks, a household microwave in the kitchen, and more."
X user Bill Johnson joked, "The biggest health hazard was Lara Trump's album playing as background music."
Democrat Karen Salitis wrote, "A score of 32 out of 100?! Some of those violations are serious. Trump for sure doesn't care about the middle class, working class and the poor. Apparently neither does Trump care about the health of elite, wealthy patrons at Bedminster to keep it safe, well run and clean without major violations risking food safety, diseases and illness. TACO is a really classy guy!"
Salitis also posted, "This 'luxury' golf resort should be SHUT DOWN with a score of 32 out of 100! He probably bribed someone to let this unsafe, unhealthy, violation ridden place stay open for the rich patrons.
