Former personal attorney for President Donald Trump, Michael Cohen, said Sunday the president “doesn’t care” if people think he is hiding something about his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Speaking on MSNBC’s “The Weekend,” Vance said Vice President JD Vance lied about a meeting to discuss Epstein “because they can.”
He added that Trump is acting like a king — making the rules and deciding “how the game is going to be played.”

Cohen said Trump is “winning” because courts are refusing to defy him and are “capitulating" to him.
“He has the game rigged,” Cohen said of Trump, warning that voters will need to stop Trump, or else American democracy could look very different after the next election.
He added that Trump has managed to take “total control over the legislative body.” “The judiciary, no different,” he added.
Earlier this week, the Justice Department ramped up its legal scrutiny of high-profile critics of Trump, including New York Attorney General Letitia James and Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).

Investigators have issued subpoenas targeting James’s office to obtain materials tied to her civil fraud lawsuit against Trump, raising questions about whether she infringed on his civil rights.
Meanwhile, Attorney General Pam Bondi has appointed special prosecutor Ed Martin to lead mortgage fraud investigations in Virginia and Maryland involving both James and Schiff — moves both officials have denounced as politically charged.
In his remarks Sunday, Cohen went on to say that ultimately somebody will get thrown under the bus [over the Epstein controversy.]
“Look at what he’s doing right now with Leticia James… …with Adam Schiff," Cohen said.
