After Politico reported on Wednesday that federal officials are worried that sharing documents with Donald Trump's transition team via email could put sensitive government data at risk, critics are taking aim at the president-elect's "hypocrisy".
Washington Monthly politics editor Bill Scher replied: "But her emails," referring to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's 2016 run against Trump, in which the ex-Democratic candidate faced criticism "over her use of a personal email server while secretary of State," according to The Hill.
The Washington Post's Meryl Kornfield replied: "Trump — who attacked his then-opponent Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server for official business during his first presidential run — is overseeing a fully privatized transition."
