President Donald Trump on Monday repeated his claim that he took a cognitive exam as part of his physical exam, saying he received "the highest mark."
"And the doctors said, 'Sir, I've never seen anybody get that kind of — that was the highest mark,'" the president told reporters during an Oval Offic press conference with El Salvadorian President Nayib Bukele.
On Sunday, Trump spoke about his physical during a conversation with reporters on Air Force One.

"I think most of you have seen they released my physical... and I understand it was a very good report," the president said.
"The numbers were perfect, and I took a cognitive exam — and I would challenge anybody here to beat those marks because I have a perfect mark," he added.
But Trump seemed unable to mention specific details about the test, saying, “It’s a pretty well known test. Whatever it is. I got every one right.”
He added that he took the test because he “wanted to be a little different than [President Joe] Biden," who faced criticism during his presidency over his advanced age and alleged cognitive decline.

Reacting to his remarks, social media users, including political commentators, said the president was "bragging" about taking a simple test.

Last week, Trump took his first annual physical of his second presidential term at a hospital in Washington, D.C.
"President Trump remains in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological and general physical function," his doctor, Captain Sean Barbabella, said in a memo following the exam.
