During Donald Trump's first presidency, one his most famous lines was, "I am a very stable genius." And the line became so famous that Washington Post reporters Philip Rucker and Carol Leonnig used it in the title of their 2020 book "A Very Stable Genius: Donald J. Trump's Testing of America."

Now, during his second presidency, Trump is still bragging about his cognitive ability. But according to Daily Beast reporter Catherine Bouris, Trump cannot remember the details of a recent cognitive test.

Trump had an annual physical on Friday, April 11, including a cognitive test. Yet when spoke to reporters aboard Air Force One, he was short on details.

Trump told reporters, "It’s a pretty well-known test. Whatever it is. I got every one right."

The president said of his overall health, "I felt I was in very good shape. Good heart. A good soul. Very good soul."

Bouris notes, "Full details of the physical, which was conducted by Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella, are expected to be released on Sunday, (April 13). He went straight from the appointment to Florida on Friday, boarding Air Force One shortly after departing Walter Reed National Military Medical Center."

Bouris points out that Trump's "boasts about his physical and mental health are nothing new."

The Daily Beast reporter observes, "He also touted his cognitive abilities during his recent presidential campaign, telling the crowd at an event in Iowa in December 2023, 'I took a physical, and I passed with flying colors'…. Trump also had a viral moment in 2020 when he recounted that year's cognitive test, saying in order a number of words he was asked to remember: 'Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV.' Friday's physical marks the first time during his second term that the public will learn key details of Trump's health.
