'Such idiots': Ex-'American Idol' contestant smoked for peddling antisemitic conspiracy theory at Trump Doral
14 May 2023
Ex-American Idol contestant and Flat-Earther right-wing activist Jimmy Levy resurrected a conspiracy theory that was championed by QAnon and its followers prior to the 2020 election during a speech at the ReAwaken America Tour on Saturday, which took place at former President Donald Trump's Doral golf club in Miami, Florida.
"I got on American Idol and I went far — went to the end of Hollywood — and, you know, I started hanging out more and, and getting more experiences with how sick these people were in Hollywood. These people are drinking the blood of children," Levy proclaimed. "These people are injecting a chemical called adrenochrome that they extract from children that are scared."
What Levy asserted has no basis in truth and has been thoroughlydebunked. Yet Levy dredged it up anyway and insisted that celebrities are medically vampirizing kids.

"This is really happening, and this is the most popular chemical used in Hollywood for the youth. It's a 'fountain of youth,' they say. It's disgusting and it needs to be exposed. Many — Jim Cavaziel? Cavezal? tried to expose it and was called crazy," Levy said of The Passion of the Christ actor Jim Caviezel, who stars as a cop in an upcoming sex trafficking thriller called Sound of Freedom.
"But it's the truth. This is what is being used," Levy declared. "These people worship the devil."
Trump's second-eldest son Eric and his wife Lara gave speeches at the event too, which was attended by Christian nationalists and convicted felons whom Trump pardoned before he left office.
The spectacle led to unfettered mockery and scorn on social media.

Denver Riggleman: "I would laugh at these morons if they weren't so dangerous."
Ron Shillman: "These people are such idiots."
Bizzle: "Good lord. Adrenochrome? Damn, his conspiracies are stuck in 2015."
Susan Becraft: "What did they inject into Jimmy Levy?"
GrandmaExpectingBetter: "It astounds me how they can say anything and these MAGAs will repeat it as gospel truth. The more ridiculous the more they love it."
Some noted that Levy's storyline was "literally the plot" of the animated film Monsters, Inc.
ice.cream.assassin: "Honestly it'd be a hell of a ride to sit down and watch Monsters Inc. with one of these people."
Dave N.: "It will never stop being funny that their adrenochrome conspiracy is literally the plot of Monsters, Inc."
Richard Benton: "For those who thought Monsters Inc was a documentary, 'Hey, we scare because we care.'"
When STEMtheBleeding asked, "Isn't this the plot from Monsters Inc.?" PatriotTakes replied that "they believe Monsters Inc. alludes to what they do/bragging about it."
Levy was also accused of antisemitism, although he denied it.
Carolyn S: "This trope is a recycle from Adolf Hitler."
Los Angeles-based DJ Darwin pointed out that the "adrenochrome" suspicions are based upon "blood libel, an anti-Semitic myth used by fascists for hundreds of years" and called it "disgusting."
Levy responded that "I'm Jewish, Israeli and proud, nice try."
