A Democratic lawmaker on Saturday got a massive applause at a Vice President Kamala Harris rally after a jab at Donald Trump's vice presidential pick, J.D. Vance.
Rep. Dina Titus (D-NV), on stage before Harris at the campaign rally in Las Vegas, drew attention to Vance's past claims about "childless cat ladies" who he said headed the Democratic party.
“We’re effectively run in this country, via the Democrats, via our corporate oligarchs, by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made,” Vance said. “And so they wanna make the rest of the country miserable, too.”
But Titus turned it around on him Saturday.
"By the way, I’m one of those miserable childless cat ladies," Titus said at Harris' rally. "Oh, J.D. Vance apologized to my cat but he didn't ever apologize to me for what he had to say."
She continued:
"So, I’ve got a word for JD Vance… you'd better hide behind that sofa because we’re coming for you."
The statement received a massive applause.
