Watch: Sidney Powell pleads guilty in Georgia election interference case

Attorney Sidney Powell's efforts to help former President Donald Trump overturn the 2020 election results have resulted in both criminal and civil cases against her. In addition to being sued for defamation by Dominion Voting Systems, Powell is among the co-defendants in Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney's criminal case against Trump. And Powell, according to CNN, has entered a guilty plea in Willis' case.

Powell, CNN's Marshall Cohen reports, entered the plea only a day before her trial was set to start.

"Prosecutors are recommending a sentence of six years probation," according to Cohen. "Powell will also be required to testify at future trials and write an apology letter to the citizens of Georgia."
