Sorry, folks. The days when you could count the number of Democratic presidential candidates on your fingers and toes just ended. Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet has become the 21st Democrat to announce a 2020 run.

Bennet’s announcement was delayed by a prostate cancer diagnosis, but following successful treatment, he decided to go ahead anyway. In March, Bennet told Morning Joe that he planned to focus on income inequality and health care—but he does not support Medicare for All. “The American people need somebody who is going to run and tell them the truth in 2020. We can't get anything done around here if we continue to do what we've been doing here for the last 10 years,” Bennet said at the time.

For serious followers of the Democratic primaries, it’s time to brush up on what distinguishes Bennet from his former boss, political doppelganger, and now primary competitor John Hickenlooper.
