Rick Scott failed to discuss key health issue with potential HHS Secretary RFK Jr.

Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) on Monday met with Donald Trump's HHS Secretary nominee, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., about key health issues, but didn't discuss one key issue — abortion.
C-SPAN communications director Howard Mortman shared a video of Scott speaking with press following his meeting with Kennedy.
"I just had a great meeting with Robert Kennedy," the Florida lawmaker said. "I really appreciate his message. As you know, I used to be in the hospital business, and it's great that is going to focus on the health of America, which is the most important thing we ought to do. I think for all of us, what we're thinking about is how we stay healthy every day, and finally we're gonna have an HHS secretary that wakes up everyday and thinks how do we keep everybody healthy in this country. He's gonna have a lot of opportunity to do that. I'm completely supportive of what he wants to accomplish, and I wish him the best of luck."

CNN's Manu Raju then asked the senator, "What do you say about vaccines specifically, sir? Especially his claim that it's linked to autism?"
Scott replied, "So what he wants with vaccines — which is what I believe in — is transparency. We need to know about all vaccines. What has been the research, and do they work?"
Another reporter chimed in, asking the Sunshine State leader, "Did you talk about abortion at all — abortion access?"
Scott quickly said, "No."
