'No response is a response': Jeffrey Epstein’s victims condemn JPMorgan Chase for withholding information

Almost four years after Jeffrey Epstein's death, many questions remain about the billionaire financier and convicted sex offender's activities — including his relationships on Wall Street. Epstein was facing federal sex trafficking charges when, on August 10, 2019, he was found dead in a jail cell from an apparent suicide.

One of Epstein's accusers was Haley Robson, who was in her teens when, in 2004, she was caught up in his sex ring. Robson, according to the Daily Beast, still has questions for a Wall Street powerhouse Epstein had extensive dealings with: JPMorgan Chase.

Robson, the Daily Beast's Kate Briquelet reports in an article published on June 5, recently sent a letter to JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon and accused him of withholding important information about Epstein.

Robson told Dimon, "I cannot begin to explain how Epstein has consumed my life. I cannot make you see, force you to feel or even request that you show compassion to all the survivors…. I may not be as smart as you, but we should at least agree that the information you withheld has hurt me and many others. Everyone makes mistakes and has regrets. If you are a good human, you will just admit to making a mistake and be the first to try to do what is right to end this chapter on a positive note for all of us."

Another one of Epstein's victims, Courtney Wild, wrote to JPMorgan Chase as well and told exec Mary Erdoes, "JPMorgan was Epstein's right hand in allowing him to become the most abusive sex offender in history. Yet, rather than acknowledging a wrongdoing, accepting responsibility, making an apology to all of us, and doing what is right, I understand that JPMorgan has unleashed an army of lawyers to torture the victims who brought the cases and put them through even more pain and suffering."

According to Wild and Robson, no one at JPMorgan Chase has responded to their letters.

Wild told the Beast, "No response is a response. JPMorgan has always cared more about protecting Jeffrey or protecting themselves than protecting us."
