MTG angrily cuts in line at inauguration — insisting she 'supports President Trump the most'

Far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) was among the many members of Congress who waited in line at the Capitol Rotunda to attend President Donald Trump's second inauguration. But the far-right MAGA congressman, according to the Daily Beast, grew impatient and insisted on cutting in front of others in the line — arguing that she deserved to go ahead of them because she was more pro-Trump.

Lawmakers were placed in line based on their seniority — that is, how long they have been serving in Congress. Greene was first elected to Congress in 2020, entered the U.S. House of Representatives in January 2021, and won a third two-year term in 2024.

But Greene disliked that seniority system and said she refused to abide by it.

During an appearance on Real America's Voice, she recalled, "I said, 'This is ridiculous. We need to be lining up by who supports President Trump the most.' I said, 'That's me.'"

Greene, the Daily Beast reports, "apparently stormed to the front of the line," where she said she saw Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio). Now 78, Kaptur has been serving in the U.S. House since January 1983 — and she was at the front of the line based on seniority.

But Greene, on "Real America's Voice," said she told the veteran congresswoman, "Look, you voted to impeach President Trump, so I'm going in front of you."

Greene added that "every single one of those Democrats" didn't deserve to attend the inauguration.
