‘Kushner couldn’t get a TSA PreCheck’: Investigative journalist describes top Trump aide’s ‘disdain for rules’ as White House stonewalls House Oversight Committee on security clearances

In an interview with MSNBC’s Ari Melber on Wednesday, Kushner. Inc author and investigative journalist Vicky Ward said Donald Trump’s son-in-law and top advisor Jared Kushner is “so dangerous” he wouldn’t clear a TSA PreCheck.
Referencing Kushner’s interview this week with Time 100, Ward during which the president’s aide downplayed the Russian government’s impact during the 2016 presidential election, Ward called the performance a “master class by Jared Kushner.”
“He is an incredibly plausible liar,” Ward said.
Jared Kushner has a “disdain for rules," she added.
After noting Kushner claimed during the Time 100 interview that he had no problems obtaining a security clearance, Ward remarked that, according to her reporting, “Jared Kushner couldn’t get a TSA PreCheck.”
The analysis comes as the White House on Tuesday escalated its legal battle with the House Oversight Committee, directing former head of personnel security Carl Kline to ignore a subpoena to appear before Congress. Democrats wanted to speak with Kline about how Kushner received his security clearance after a whistleblower earlier this month said the Trump administration overturned dozens of rejected security clearances.
