Jill Biden wants us all to 'move on' from her husband's treatment of Anita Hill

Hey everyone, Jill Biden has decided that “It's time to move on” from the way her husband Joe treated Anita Hill during the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings.

Luckily, self-interested individuals don’t get to decide when something is “case closed” or when we should “move on,” just as Traitor Trump doesn’t get to decide that people don’t care about his tax returns, and Mitch McConnell doesn’t get to declare “case closed” on the Muller report.

Politics is litigation, but in the public arena. Perhaps voters don’t care about Joe Biden’s treatment of Anita Hill! Maybe black Democratic primary voters (who currently make up the bulk of Biden’s strong early support—see here and here) won’t care about Anita Hill. Maybe the rest of the Democratic primary electorate won’t either. But it is for them to decide, not Jill Biden.
