'I’m a legitimate person': Trump blames 'fake news' for recording of him joking about classified documents

Former President Donald Trump has denied any accountability for the audio tape of him boasting about classified documents that CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 published on Monday.

Per CNN:

'These are the papers,' Trump says in the audio recording, while he's discussing the Pentagon attack plans, a quote that was not included in the indictment.

In the two-minute audio recording, Trump and his aides also joke about Hillary Clinton's emails after the former president says that the document was 'secret information.'

'Hillary would print that out all the time, you know. Her private emails,' Trump's staffer said.

'No, she'd send it to Anthony Weiner,' Trump responded, referring to the former Democratic congressman, prompting laughter in the room.

On Tuesday, Trump was asked by a reporter, "You're not concerned then with your own voice on those, on those recordings?" during a New Hampshire campaign appearance.

"My voice was fine," Trump replied. "What did I say wrong on those recordings? I didn't even see the recording. All I know is I did nothing wrong. We had a lot of papers, a lot of papers stacked up. In fact, you could hear the rustle of the paper and nobody said I did anything wrong other than the fake news, which of course is Fox, too."

The reporter then wondered, "Are there any other recordings that we should be concerned of?"

Trump said that "I don't know of any recordings that you should be concerned with because I don't do things wrong. I do things right. I'm a legitimate person."
