Amid chants of "USA, USA," President Donald Trump's massive budget bill passed the Republican-controlled House of Representatives after a dramatic overnight session. The bill will now be sent to the president for his signature.
The development is being described as a major legislative win for Trump that would enable him to implement his domestic agenda.
The bill passed with 218 yeas and 214 nays, with two Republicans voting against the legislation.

Two GOP lawmakers, Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.) — teamed up with Democrats to oppose the bill. Massie said in a statement moments before the bill's passage that it was "not beautiful enough" for him to vote for it.
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), speaking on the House floor prior to the vote, declared: “With one big, beautiful bill, we are gonna make this country stronger, safer and more prosperous than ever before, and every American is going to benefit from that.”
He added that the vote “lays a key cornerstone of America’s new golden age.”
Meanwhile, moderate Republicans who initially opposed the bill but ended up voting for it in the end are being criticized on social media.

"Remember how Murkowski said she voted for the bill so it'd get changed in the House," wrote the account Polling USA on the social platform X, referencing Sen. Lisa Murkowski's (R-Alaska) remarks that the House should rework the bill because it is "not there yet."
Murkowski voted for the bill in the Senate but later told reporters it needs more reforms, hoping that the House would amend it. Journalist Mike Rothschild said: "Murkowski should resign in disgrace, and spend the rest of her life apologizing for what she's done. But Trump will send her a signed hat, and it'll be fine."
A post from Justice Democrats on X said: "If you're a family, senior, worker, parent, child, farmer, immigrant, working class, middle class, disabled, unemployed, sick, hungry, Republican, Democrat, Independent, this bill was written to harm you. And if you're a billionaire, this bill is great for you, and you only."
"So now what does Lisa Murkowski say, since the house isn’t sending the bill back to the senate for changes?? Someone please ask her!" wrote another X user.

Democratic activist Benjamin Rosenblatt wrote: "Any reporters want to ask Sen. Murkowski about her 'I'm voting for the bill so that the House doesn't pass it as-is' plan?"
