If GOP is going to 'throw stones' they should prepare to 'have their house looked at: Christie

After House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) agreed to move forward with an impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden Tuesday, former New Jersey governor and 2024 GOP presidential candidate Chris Christie shared his thoughts on the potential consequences of the move.
Although ultraconservative House Freedom Caucus members like U.S. Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) have pressed McCarthy for months on opening the inquiry amid their investigation of the president and his son Hunter Biden, other House Republicans like U.S. Reps. Ken Buck (CO) and Don Bacon (NE) have been skeptical of doing so.

Christie replied, "Yeah, look, that's just what our politics unfortunately evolved into, Jake. In recent years and, look, this part of what happened in the last two presidencies. Donald Trump's folks, his children Jared and Ivanka, in particular, benefiting greatly from his time as president. Billions of dollars from the Saudis. Half a billion dollars or so from the Qataris and the Emiratis. People have big questions about that as well. And I think when you add 'Why you would hire Hunter Biden to do anything if he last name wasn't Biden?' I think everybody is disgusted by it, but I think everyone is gonna have their house looked at if they're going to throw stones an that is the way politics works these days. but if your family has not done something that should lead you
